Areas of Study

At NYFA, aspiring visual artists and performers are taught the art and craft of storytelling through project-based learning. Students are given the framework to gain practical training in their field of study, having access to the resources, tools, mentorship, and curricula required to develop strong creative and technical skills.

From shooting short films to designing their own video games to singing a solo in front of a live audience, NYFA students are completely immersed in their area of study from their very first day on campus, allowing them to grow as artists and individuals while building a body of their best work.
